This past month has been outrageous! Anti-choice politicians in Congress are using the economic crisis as an excuse to eliminate family-planning and preventive-health services. They seem to think that the elections gave them carte blanche to launch an unprecedented attack on women's health and access to abortion care.

Now here's a little bit of good news. Thanks to all of your calls and letters, our U.S. Senator — Scott Brown — has finally said that he does not believe Congress should eliminate funding for family planning! We need to thank him for taking this public stance, but remind him that the work is just beginning. We now need him to actually VOTE for family planning and stand up for women's health over the weeks and months to come.
