2008 NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts Annual Meeting
On Tuesday, March 25, NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts held its 2008 Annual Meeting at the law offices of Holland + Knight in downtown Boston. We were pleased to welcome State Representative Katherine Clark as our keynote speaker. We recognized Gail Epstein with the Robin Ault Memorial Volunteer of the Year Award for her dedication to the organization. We honored the elected officials who helped pass the 2007 Buffer Zone Law. This law provides essential protection for patients and medical personnel outside of reproductive health clinics around the state. The Annual Meeting also served as an opportunity to welcome our new executive director, Andrea Miller. Andrea is a longtime reproductive rights and women’s health leader. Under her direction, NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts will energize and expand its membership, uniting a new generation around reproductive choice. Current members elected the 2008 Board of Directors at the Annual Meeting.
