Support Comprehensive Health Education
Some school districts in Massachusetts have little or no sex education as part of their curriculum. Some choose to use abstinence-only programming instead, which often communicates medically inaccurate and misleading information to teenagers. NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts supports comprehensive sex education that includes information about abstinence as well as contraception. Please act now to support the Health Education Bill which adds health education to the core curriculum in Massachusetts public schools, including the topics of reproduction and sexuality.
You can help by following 3 easy steps:
1) Download a petition (pdf) to support comprehensive sex education.
2) Collect signatures from your friends, co-workers, neighbors and others.
3) Return the petition(s) to NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts via fax at 617.338.2532 or mail it to 41 Winter Street, Suite 65, Boston, MA 02108.
