Protect & Elect: In Your Community!
You can begin a team no matter where you live in Massachusetts. All you need to do is commit to running about two volunteer activities per month. We’ll help you plan the events and recruit team members. Potential Protect & Elect activities: Voter Registration Drives Register people in your community to vote in upcoming elections, as well as invite them to join our cause! Click HERE (PDF) to learn more about how voter registration works. Signatures Collection Work with your team to ask people to sign a pledge to vote pro-choice in the upcoming 2008 elections! DOWNLOAD (PDF) a petition, so you can start by asking your friends and neighbors to sign in support of pro-choice legislators who will protect the rights of women in the Commonwealth. Then just return these pledges via mail to Marina at 15 Court Square, Suite 900, Boston, MA 02108. Candidate Work From time to time, when we endorse a candidate in your district, we’ll ask for your help in getting them elected! Calling Voters Help out in our downtown Boston office by identifying pro-choice voters or calling on behalf of pro-choice candidates. It is easy, fun, and pizza is provided! All times are 6:00-8:30pm.
