Local Resources
Each year, ACLU of Massachusetts lawyers provide representation in approximately 70 cases in the courts. In addition, they lobby for and against hundreds of bills filed in the state legislature that would have either a positive or negative impact of civil liberties in the Commonwealth. Their public education and organizing work mobilizes activists to fight for the rights and protections that are the hallmarks of our constitutional system.
The Civil Liberties and Public Policy Program is a reproductive rights organization that trains, educates, and inspires new leaders, organizers, and supporters nationwide. CLPP is located at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts.
The Eastern Massachusetts Abortion Fund is committed to ensuring reproductive choice for all women. The EMA Fund is the only organization in eastern Massachusetts that gives direct financial assistance to women and girls who cannot afford abortion services.
