Anti-Choice Ballot Measures Fail
November 4 is shaping up to be a banner eve for privacy and a woman's right to choose. Voters are soundly rejecting anti-choice attempts to let government interfere with the most personal, private decisions families can make -- decisions about pregnancy and childbearing. The anticipated defeat of initiatives in three states that would have outlawed abortion (Colorado and South Dakota) or added greater restrictions on access to this medical care (California) shows the strength of the pro-choice majority, which understands that these choices are best left to women and their families.
