NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts Endorses Suzanne Bump for State Auditor
NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts is very proud to announce its endorsement of Suzanne Bump for State Auditor.
Boston, MA – Today, NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts – the leading statewide advocate for privacy and a woman’s right to choose – announced its endorsement of Suzanne Bump for State Auditor.
"NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts is very proud to endorse Suzanne Bump for State Auditor,” said Andrea Miller, the group’s executive director. "Suzanne has a strong pro-choice record, and we are confident that, as auditor, she would ensure that critical funding streams that improve access to family planning and reproductive health services for some of the most vulnerable women in the Commonwealth are never compromised.”
"I’m very grateful for NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts’ endorsement, and I have always supported their mission of education and guaranteeing the legal rights of women,” said Bump. "I’m running for State Auditor because I believe that no taxpayer should ever have to wonder whether anyone in state government is on their side or whether a dollar they give to state government is a dollar well spent, and no one who relies on a government service should ever have to wonder whether that service will be compromised by a failing bureaucracy or a dishonest contractor. As State Auditor, I will use the tools of the office to make government work better for the residents and taxpayers of Massachusetts.”
"Even in a pro-choice state like Massachusetts, opponents of a woman’s right to choose have proven time and again that they are willing to sacrifice the health and well-being of women and families to promote their extreme agenda. That’s why it’s important to elect pro-choice leaders like Suzanne Bump,” Miller concluded.
With 20,000 members across the Commonwealth, NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts provides direct assistance to pro-choice candidates, mobilizes its pro-choice grassroots base in targeted districts, trains candidates and volunteers, and produces and distributes the only statewide pro-choice Voters’ Guide.
